Red Ribbon Week Video Contest and Suburban Junkie Presentation
WHAT'S YOUR PLAN? a student video competition presented by the Baldwin County Board of Education in partnership with Baldwin County Drug Court Foundation. When confronted with drugs or alcohol, what's your plan? Who will you call? How will you remove yourself from the situation? How will you respond? In 90 seconds or less, tell your story, share your plan, and help inspire and encourage fellow students to make the right choice. The contest is open to all Baldwin County Middle and High School students.
The Baldwin County Drug Court Foundation, Inc. is pleased to be able to work with BCBE to provide an interactive drug education program on October 25, 2017, commencing at 9:00 A.M. at the BCBE studio facility in Robertsdale. The program will begin at 9 AM with an introduction/welcome by Superintendent Tyler, followed by Judge Scott Taylor and then our speaker, Jude Hassan. The program will be broadcast live to the middle and high school student and will incorporate select PSA videos generated by the students through a “video contest.” The studio audience will be special guests and selected students from each school.
We won! The TNN students and the Peer Helpers submitted videos to this contest and the TNN video won for the county. The participants were invited to attend the live presentation of Suburban Junkie on Wednesday at 9AM at the BCBE studio in Robertsdale.
The students are:
Isabella Harrison, Kimmie Taylor, Olivia Mitchell, Bella Castronova, Keara Kyles, Hannah Hutchins, Lyndsey Byrd, and Elizabeth Kell
